Get ready for the most exhilarating event of the summer - the Annual Boothbay Harbor Tug-of -War Competition! Join us for a day of fun, excitement, and friendly rivalry as we pit teams against each other in a test of strength and teamwork across the breathtaking Boothbay Harbor in Maine!

This event is FREE and open to all. Donations will be accepted in support of the Boothbay Region Health Center and the Maine Lobstermen's Association.

Teams can consist of 8-10 participants. Maximum of 8 teams.
Mixed teams are encouraged (all ages and genders welcome)
Team costumes and themes are highly recommended

Tο»Ώhe winning team will receive a trophy. All members of the winning team will receive Windjammer Days T-Shirts and commemorative cups.

Following the Tug-of-War Across the Harbor, check out the 19th Annual INTERNATIONAL Rock-Skipping Contest - fame, glory, more prizes! Be sure to also join us at the Boat Bar Party at the Chowder House. All events will take place in the same location, with activities running 11 am-2 pm.
Please note: A starting pistol is used to signal the start of each tug resulting in a loud bang.
